Due to the long term effects of increased oil prices, following fuel surcharges will be applied to Thai Airways International P.C.L. (TG)’s flights upon ticket issuance. Please be advised that the following amount of the fuel surcharge may change based on average price of Singapore kerosene (updated on 23APR12).

 

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Due to renovation of immigration & security check areas at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, usage of some facilities is being restricted, and there is severe congestion which requires a lot of time for immigration procedures. 

 

In order for passengers not to miss their flights, for the time being,  it is recommended to come to the airport for check-in THREE HOURS before departure time (check in counters are available 6 hours before departure time).

 

For those passengers whose final destinations are Phuket, Chiang-mai, Chiang-rai, Krabi, Samui, Hat Yai, it is also recommended to come to passport control area for immigration with sufficient time.

Thai Airways International (TG)‘s online booking is now available 6 hours before departure on TG’s web site
 

Previously, TG only accepted outbound bookings from Japan until 72hous before departure on the web, it is now available 6 hours before the departure.  However, if fares have conditions for advance reservation, the conditions are prioritized.

 

On the online purchase of air tickets of which point of departure is Japan, payment by VISA/MASTER/JCB is accepted.

Effective May 1, 2009, Thai Airways International P.C.L. (TG) will introduce a Ticketing Service Fee for tickets issued within Japan and an Exchange/Reissue Service Fee for changes requested within Japan as follows:

1            Issuance of Tickets through TG Homepage

2            TG Royal Orchid Plus Award Tickets and Partner Flight Award Tickets

3            Infants under the age of two not occupying a seat

4            Change of tickets with fare restrictions requiring a higher change fee or penalty

                                                      (except for handling at Kansai Int’l airport)

5            Issuance of Replacement tickets for Lost Tickets

6            Involuntary changes

In accordance with the regulations legislated by each country, restrictions are imposed on liquids, gels and aerosols carried on board aircraft departing from each country.
